Areas of Speciality
I have majorly worked with children, adolescents and adults, and am open to work with geriatrics as well. As a Counseling Psychologist, my work focuses on helping individuals overcome personal challenges, navigate difficult emotions, and improve their overall mental health by becoming more self aware. I primarily provide therapy and counseling to clients who may be dealing with various psychological issues, such as low mood, sleep disturbance, workplace stress, substance abuse, relationship problems, trauma or symptoms of anxiety, depression, or other mental illnesses.
I aim to create a safe and supportive space in the therapy sessions to increase self awareness, self reflection, decrease symptoms and increase personal strengths, while using a client centered approach. I also utilize techniques such as mindfulness, relaxation exercises, and assertiveness training.
I also prioritize the ethical guidelines and professional standards, and strive for cultural competence to provide inclusive and effective services to individuals from diverse backgrounds.
